#ex_eL2016 Exploration continues through networking and knowledge sharing

On 1 and 2 December, Milan hosted the second edition of exploring eLearning, the most important event in Italy dedicated to online training, with the aim of discussing the trends and methods that, over time, have become more important. An analysis conducted among 460 participants of the previous edition, a discussion with the Scientific Committee and with the heads of the major Italian Academies allowed the creation of a map of the main market requirements in terms of Fad. The first training workshops had already begun in April 2016, focussing on the main topics of the event and organised in important companies such as Miroglio Fashion, Club Méditerranée, Sky and Luxottica. The digital&ampblended method allowed a very unusual and original portrayal of the 7 man topics: Skills &amp Digital, Adaptive Learning &amp Learning Styles, Learning Path, Gamification, Corporate Academy, Open Badge and Certificates, Start eLearning. The focus on this last path, which to many is synonymous with innovation and change, was very popular. The posterLAB format was confirmed once more, inspired by the posters of international scientific conferences. In each of them, of the duration of 40 minutes, the content was presented on large screens with the aid of video and multimedia infographics and an app to facilitate the real-time interaction of participants. More than 1200 contributions were received, together with over 50 corporate testimonies that saw the participation of organisations such as Acea, Aviva Italia, Findomestic bank, Mediolanum bank, Monte dei Paschi di Siena bank, Business Partner Italia BNP Paribas, Comdata, Contatto Formazione, Cornerstone OnDemand, CRIF, Docebo, Ecole, ENAV, ENEL, Europe Assistance, Fastweb Fater, Glickon, GroupM, HR Services, IRCCS Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza (Home for the Relief of Suffering), Intesa Sanpaolo Formazione, Kion, Leonardo, Luxottica Group, ManpowerGroup, Miroglio Fashion, Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology, OVS, Pirelli Tyre, Quadrifor, Salini Impregilo, Synergie, Tim, Wind, Unicredit, Marche Polytechnic University, University of Turin. One of the major new features of this edition were the hands-on workshopsand training events, dedicated respectively to the implementation and testing of new and original forms of participation, thanks also to the guidance provided by important figures on the training and other scenes, such as Giorgio Beltrami, Giorgio Fabbri, Barbara Forchitto, Luca Pagliari, Ettore Perozzi, Umberto Santucci, Manpower Group, Tea Trends and the LUISS Business School. Continuous interaction, which has become a vital element for exploring eLearning, was yet again possible thanks to an app by Skilla – Amicucci Formazione: Lumi, capable of transforming classrooms and training events into a more constructive and exciting environment. Ample space was also reserved for the first “exploring eLearning competition”, in collaboration and with the patronage of SIREM (Italian Society for Research on Medial Education). A commission of experts, perfectly in line with business objectives, such as research and innovation, decided to honour the three best degree and doctoral theses dedicated to the use of technology in education. To the numerous testimonials, the companies that hosted us over these last few months, the Scientific Committee and all those who participated, we would like to say thanks! Go to the photo gallery
